This was such an amazing place to visit mostly because of the unexpected beauty of it all, I would say it is the best kept secret of the National parks, you kind of know what to expect when you go to Yellowstone as far as it being just a magnificent wilderness environment but the badlands just amaze you with the massive rock formations, and with it being such a soft material it is so easy to see how the wind and rain changes the world around us everyday and we never even notice.
